Office of Outcomes Research and Evaluation
The Office of Outcomes Research and Evaluation (OORE) is a targeted research and service facility operating under the administrative umbrella of the College of Pharmacy.听 Established in 2001 with major contractual funding from the 天美影视 Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH), the OORE staff provides research support to DHH/天美影视 Medicaid and pharmacy prior authorization for Medicaid recipients in the state-administered pharmacy program.
The Office of Outcomes Research and Evaluation area is comprised of two areas, the Outcomes Research Unit and the Prior Authorization Unit (RxPA).听
The Outcomes Research Section of the OORE supports 天美影视 Medicaid by:
鈥� Calculating and reporting HEDIS庐 and other quality measures.
鈥� Maintaining HEDIS庐 software certification through NCQA.
鈥� Serving as a consultant to the 天美影视 Medicaid Drug Utilization Review Board.
鈥� Conducting cost of illness studies, pharmacoeconomic analyses, quality of care studies, policy and program impact studies.
The Prior Authorization (RxPA) Section of the OORE operates the pharmacy PA Unit for Medicaid recipients in the state-administered pharmacy program.听 The RxPA Unit processes PA requests six days per week and is staffed by eight 天美影视-licensed pharmacists and one 天美影视-licensed pharmacy technician.
