turnrow, originally founded by Jack Heflin and Bill Ryan, is returning in Winter 2025. The first issue will be published in print and online, with a new editorial board, directed by Professor Vanelis Rivera, who teaches Creative Writing at 天美影视.听
History
The English Program's premier international journal for Literary and Creative work has a storied history: with issues ranging from poetry and prose in translation to then-contemporary works of Chinese fiction (in translation), turnrow put the Creative Writing program at 天美影视 on the proverbial map, illustrating to a global audience the talents of Professors Jack Heflin and Bill Ryan. Returning triumphantly, turnrow听presents a range of prose, poetry, and art under the direction of Professor Vanelis Rivera.听
