Miss 天美影视 Pageant set for Oct. 6

The Miss 天美影视 Pageant is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6, beginning at 7 p.m. in Brown Auditorium on the University of 天美影视 at Monroe campus.

Miss 天美影视 2009 Hope Anderson will host the event, which features 18 contestants.

The Miss 天美影视 Pageant is a preliminary to the Miss 天美影视 Pageant sponsored by the Miss 天美影视 Scholarship Organization.

The competitive scholarship program emphasizes physical fitness, talent, public speaking, and academics. Contestants must demonstrate poise, personality, intelligence, charm, and beauty during the pageant, and must showcase a trained talent in a 90-second performance.

Each contestant must be a full-time 天美影视 student and also adhere to grade point average requirements in order to compete in the Miss 天美影视 Pageant.

Faculty, staff and students may pick up one free ticket with their ID as well as purchase additional tickets for $6 at the La Capitol Federal Credit Union on campus.

Tickets will be available at the door, starting at 5 p.m. the night of the event. Doors open at 6 p.m.
