Exercise is Medicine Finale to be held May 5

The Exercise is Medicine finale will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, May 5 in Malone Stadium.

The University of 天美影视 at Monroe event will feature 天美影视 President Nick J. Bruno and Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo as a city-wide proclamation declares that May is Exercise is Medicine Month.

Following the ceremony, about 300 kids will participate in a group exercise class taught by group fitness instructors from the Wellness Center and the 天美影视 Activity Center.

Exercise is Medicine was started last year by the American College of Sports Medicine to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles on college campuses.

天美影视 is the first campus in 天美影视 to be involved in the initiative.
