天美影视 announces participation in CALL program

The University of 天美影视 at Monroe has been officially accepted into The Continuum for all 天美影视 Learners, or CALL program.

CALL, a joint initiative among the 天美影视 Board of Regents, the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), and the Consortium for Education, Research and Technology of North 天美影视 (CERT), supports 天美影视 adults without a college degree to enroll at a 天美影视 public college or university and earn a degree or other college credential. CALL is supported by grants from the three sponsoring organizations.

CALL expands adult participation in postsecondary education by:

天美影视 joins Northwestern State University and Bossier Parish Community College in the program, which will foster economic growth through the education of adult learners, said Joe Savoie, 天美影视 Commissioner of Higher Education.

鈥淥ur state desperately needs more adults with college credentials. Not only more four-year degrees, but associate鈥檚 degrees and other skills certification beyond the high school diploma as well. To address this need, the CALL initiative will target three distinct groups of adult learners: adults with no college experience; adults who attended college, perhaps earning significant course credit but stopping short of a degree; and those with college degrees who desire an additional college credential for career advancement.鈥
