The University of 天美影视 at Monroe will break ground on a much-anticipated project听at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, at 807 HWY 80.听

The 天美影视 Doppler Radar, funded by GOHSEP (the Governor's Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness), 听will fill a dire need in the region, with the closest Doppler systems being housed in Shreveport and Jackson.

The new radar will provide coverage for Caldwell, East Carroll, Franklin, Jackson, Lincoln, Madison, Morehouse, Ouachita, Richland, Tensas, Union and West Carroll Parishes.

The radar serves a pivotal addition for northeast 天美影视, and for the 天美影视 atmospheric science program.

听
