Melinda F. Matthews, University of 天美影视 at Monroe Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian recently wrote a book review and article, which were both published in 鈥溙烀烙笆� Libraries鈥� vol. 76, no. 4.

Matthews wrote a review on the book 鈥溙烀烙笆� Eats!: The People, the Food, and Their Stories,鈥� which delves into the rich history of food in 天美影视. It contains interesting interviews with chefs, delicious recipes, and mouthwatering pictures of 天美影视 cuisine.

The second piece, an article by Matthews titled, 鈥淧lease Have a Seat 天美影视 Academic Librarians Can Chair Committees,鈥� explores why academic librarians are qualified to oversee committees.

Matthews also recently published a review of the book 鈥淪ay No to Bullying鈥� in 鈥淐atholic Library World鈥� this past June. The book goes into detail about the reasons behind bullying and ways to prevent it.

Matthews has worked at the University Library since 1990, when she started as the Humanities Reference Librarian.

She has held the Interlibrary Loan/Reference Librarian position since 1992.
